Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding combines the sports of water skiing, snowboarding, and surfing. The wakeboarder is towed behind a boat on a wakeboard and their feet are attached to the board. Wakeboarders perform tricks and jumps by launching off the wake of the boat.
Wakeskating
Wakeskating is an more challenging adaptation of wakeboarding where the boarder’s feet are not bound to the board. The surface of the board is soft and high-traction that allows riders to ride barefoot or with footwear
Wakesurfing
Although somewhat similar to wakeboarding, wakesurfing is when surfers trail behind a wakeboard boat, surfing the boat’s wake as if it were a wave on the ocean. A tow rope is used to get the surfer up on the wave, but then the rope is dropped allowing the surfer to surf the wake.
